Dominican Music Roots Workshop

SCHOOLS AND KID-FRIENDLY SPACES

These workshops highlight the folkloric richness of the Dominican Republic with history, music, and rhythm.

Featuring engaging dynamics, like call and response and clapping on rhythm, audiences are encouraged to sing, feel, and enjoy the power of music.

As a guitarist, vocalist, composer, and producer, Yasser combines traditional Dominican roots music with jazz, rock, and Caribbean rhythms. Through his music, he inspires students to sing, dance, and celebrate their roots.”

● Los Congos del Espíritu Santo de Villa Mella

● Los Palos y sus diferentes variantes

● La Salve

● El Prí Prí
